i have a 10 gallon, with the following.
1 mini pengiun filter,
1 fuval 300,
and a powerhead. is the current to strong. the mini is on the left and tanking care of the top, the fuval is in the middle and it is pushing the current to the right. and then on the right is the powerhead pushing water back to the filter and the fuval.

Just a little... Aside from my rivertank my tanks have around 10 times the tanks volume in filtration. Meaning on a 10g I'd have around 100gph total. If you mean a fluval 304 then you have 260gph right there. Plus you didn't say what the powerhead is. Your setup is also likely to be creating a whirlpool instead of recreating the steady flow of a river. What fish are you planning to keep in the tank?

oi.. that's pretty intense man. The penguin mini would suffice just nicely!

Whoa, that's a lot for a ten gallon. The current in there must be really turbulent. I would say your fish are getting a lot of exercise fighting it.

the fish don't seem to mind. the mini is on full, but that isn't alot when the tank is full. the fuval is on low. and the powerhead is pointing up so it leaves the middle of the tank slower*.

thats still alot of filtration for a ten gallon

in equal ratios itd b fine for larger tanks say 55-90 gallons
but on a ten i think it b to much

my piranha tanks only cycle 13-15 times per hour n theres alot of current ur running at well ove r30 times per hour

what type of fish do u have in it?

LOL, you definately don't need that much filtration. Maybe get like a Tetra 20 or something...
