Definitely get more cardinals, and cories too! They are really cute. Rams are a good idea as well. A school of hatchet fish would be a really great addition. They stay a lot higher than the cardinals so the schools wouldn't mix. Silver ones are especially pretty. Just make sure you've got a tight lid. They are jumpers! Mine get so excited during feeding time I occasionally have to scoop them off the floor!

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

How about a school of harlequins?

You could also do a group of loaches for the bottom

I would only add 6 Tetra's at one time & them more fish a week after. It's better to add them over a period of time.

Add 6 tetras so they have a comfortable school to start out with...then the next week add 4 more if you want to end up with 10.

Just wondering how many tetras can I add to my tank at one time? Could I just get all of them at once?

I have two koi angel fish, six cardinal tetras, and one bristlenose pleco. What else could I put in the tank? I am thinking about 4 or more cardinals.

Tetra,
Some tetras are very tight schoolers, like Rummynose.
Mine are always zooming zig zagging across the tank in one big pack.
Each to their own though I guess.

I say this, because to me 2 schools of fish make a tank look rather messy especially if they are lose schoolers like tetras...

20 Cardinal Tetras
2 Koi angelfish (could add 2 more maybe)
8 Cory's
2 BN plecos (give your current BN a friend maybe)
2 Rams

That's what I would do.

So then you would have
2 Angels
2 Bolivian Rams
20 Cardinal Tetras
2 Bristlenose Pleco

That would be fine.
I think you could do 2 schools
of small fish so like
12 Cardinal Tetras
12 Rummynose Tetras
I think you will also have room for a school of 6
cory cats in there if you wanted too.

What if I add 14 more cardinals so a total of 20 cardinals instead of another school of tetras. Would this be too much? Then one more bristle nose pleco and 2 bolivian rams. Is this ok or will this be overstocked?

I'd say add more cardinals as opposed to adding neons, the bigger the school the better. or you could add another school of tetras, maybe rummy nose? or you could add a shoal of corys.

edit: damn just beaten to the reply!! ]:|

I wouldnt get neons as they can carry the Neon Tetra Disease which can be fatal. I would up the school of cardinals to 10 or more. I would also add a school of cories. Maybe 10 of those. Maybe you could add a pair of rams or another school of tetras.
