I'm finally over my broken leg (as much as I can be anyway), and am no in the process of setting up my 72 bowfront.

Its gonna be a planted tank, with tiger lotus, and a piece of madagascar lace as the centerpiece plant.

Water around here is liquid rock, although we have ways of softening it and bringing down the pH, so we're not too concerned about that. Now, in terms of stocking the sucker, south american fish, but I will take other fish from other regions so long as they can handle the water conditions... None that will obliterate my plants thankyouverymuch

One fish is definitely going in there - a Queen Arabesque Pleco

so any suggestions?

I'd go with the same thing, wish I had space for a bigger tank so I could set that up. Maybe an blackwater amazon biotope? One concern would be all the neons or cardinals being eaten by the angels...but then it just depends how realistic an environment you would like to create. Try this link for some more fish and plant ideas:

Hey Dallas

You could always do a smaller version of what I have in the 125, save the fact you won't be going with the filtration that I use, but the natural approach to filtration

10-15 hardy corries that please you (I know you probably won't do it, but add an airstone for them to play in, they love it)
15-20 Neons or Cardinal tetras
10-15 Harlequin Rasboras
and 1 centerpiece fish of your choice

for my center piece fish I have clown loaches, as well as a betta boy, nothing huge or spectacular, but hey it is my choice :%), I also have a male guppy and some emperor tetras...makes for a nice tank...

just my thoughts though, houston signing off
