In fact, I now have two, though not both set up. The 125 gallon still looks big, but not as impressive as it used to. Most of your stock would be good and you could definitely fit even more. However, the Clown Loaches get really big, so they'll be trouble after some time. A 55 gallon won't work as a permanent home for them. Y'all are right, though.. it -does- get a little smaller every day. I'd stay away from clown loaches in a 55 as they like having a group of at least ...three... from what I've read (I've also heard six, though). They get really large, too. I think they'd end up needing a 125+ tank. Other people will be able to give you more info on 'em, though. Edit: Dojo loaches are nice. They aren't anywhere near as colorful as clowns, but they're a lot of fun to watch and they don't get -too- big. Last edited by bananacoladafuze at 14-Oct-2005 14:44 ______________ Cake or death? |

lowlight![]() Enthusiast Posts: 166 Kudos: 94 Registered: 03-Apr-2005 ![]() | Congrats on the 55. I found that the trick to keeping the tanks looks big is to live in an appartment (HA HA HA HA). I have a 55 gal. tank in our appartment and it still looks big, allthough the appartment is shrinking (LOL). I want a BIGGER tank. Are we ever satisfied? |
