One of my tanks currently has a snakeskin gourami, neon tetras, cories, a BN, and a RTBS. Apparently the gourami is snacking on the neons ]:| so it will be moved to another tank.

So with the gourami gone I was thinking of possibly adding a betta to the tank. Would this combination of fish work, or should I forget about a centerpiece fish and increase the school of neons?

In my experience (well, my little brothers) glowlight tetras tend to attack bettas. Neons are very similar, so I wouldn't get a betta.

Increase the school of neons

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

Don't add a Betta, add more Neons & Corydoras.
