You also should do a full filter cleaning as soon as the water clears. When you remove about 30% of the tank water the fish can go into that while you are doing all the aquscaping. GirlieGirl8519![]() ![]() Fish Master *Malawi Planter* Posts: 1468 Kudos: 1029 Votes: 35 Registered: 25-Mar-2005 ![]() | I took all my plants out of my 55g and soaked them in bleach today to remove algae type stuff. I had to leave the fish in though because I didn't have anything to put them in. They seemed a little stressed though, but everyone is fine now. I would take them out if I ever do it again. I was taking out some plants in my German Rams "territory" and she was not happy. She tried to attack the end of the gravel vac and almost got sucked up in it. It was so funny. She changes territory so I don't think it will bother her too much that I moved things around. The point I am trying to make: take the fish out. They will be less stressed and more happy. |
