it looks like a snake head. the side fins would rule out lungfish, and it doesn't have the body charactristics of an arowana.

I dunno, it looks a little to wide to be a snakehead. Don't they sorta resemble a snake? I'm thinking a birchir with bad lighting.

has simular color pattern. could be easier to see if the croc isn't in the way. is it possible to get another pic.

i've been around them for quite some time and i know for a FACT that it is a SNAKE HEAD... i just don't know which species...

i think it MIGHT be "Channa argus"... not sure though.

That is definitely 100% Snakehead. Unfortunately I can't tell you what species of the Channa genus that is.

Wow, it makes me sad how few people know of Snakeheads. *sigh* What can you do, after all, they're banned now...

yeah, it a snakehead. no arguement about it, birchir would be on bottom most likely whereas snakehead stay in middle a lot.

is it yours or what?
