first off im not getting fish from **** for a while]:| took them over an hour to catch my fish! and then they messed up the code so there is another half hour of me trying to tell the stupid cashire that corys arent fantails!]:| and then she says..oh i know that.. i worked in there before, then she pointed to the GUPPY and said "i was talking about this" GRRRRRRRRR]:|

anyway

well, i bought 6 TINY corys, that are still so small, i have no idea what species they are! but they were so tiny, i had to rescue them so i went and got 6 corys, the smallest one being 1/2 an inch and the biggest one being 3/4 of an inch tincy tiny spotted corys i aclimated them and now they are hanging out with the big guys

i also got a free male guppy, too bad he died on me he looked sick anyway, so i tossed him in the less than half filled 55 gallon and i havent seen him sence i mean, its got substrait, floating plants, amd rocks.

and the most special one is a TINCY little baby cichlid i have no clue at all what species he is either there were only 2 left (the oscars ate the rest and he spend a good half hour trying to catch the first one, then i wanted the 2nd one too, but my dad made me leave before he could catch it. but he is so small about 3/4in long he has stripes and 1 spot in the middle of his side, and he looks very cichlid also he doesnt have much color, mostly grey and black for now, but only time will tell

If you could post some pictures then we could tell you what species you got. And also tell you how cute the lil cories are. Have you looked through the profiles on here to see if any look like your mystery fishies?
Congrats on the new additions. I hate buying fish from Walmart, but the last ones I got were little panda cories. I had never seen them anywhere before so I had to get them. Too bad 2 died.
The tanks are never clean. I always try not to look at them so I won't want any fish.

Thank goodness no stores any thing like that in any of the areas I look for fish.

I suggest a good photo would help to identify your fish.

I had been thinking the same: to go rescue all the fish at the local lfs that carries dyed fishies. I think, however, that if people boycott the stores and also report any abuse they see, that that may be more effective(imo).

u see i have a great cmera, only i dont have a memory card%!@) its also a camcorder, so i have a tape with lots of great fishy pics, but i dont know how to get htem from the tape to the computer
