In the tank however, many will go to multiple types of anemones. It is an individual thing. Another thing to take into account is tank bred specimens. Many of these will never go into any anemone. Also, some will even live in different other type corals as well, like frog spawn, torch, and hammers. As well as others too. As for the easiest, IMO, that would be the bubble tip anemone. Probably the lowest lighting requirements and easiest to acclimate to an aquarium. The better question though, would be to ask which do best under what kind of lighting you have or will be getting. As they have lighting requirements. Some, like the carpets will have very high lighting requirements. There is always a bigger fish... |

ACIDRAIN Moderator Posts: 3162 Kudos: 1381 Votes: 416 Registered: 14-Jan-2002 | To my knowlage, no clown will host with a condy In nature, this is true. But in the aquarium, they many times will. As the different clowns can/and will many times adapt to different species of anemones, other than those they are found living in, in nature. The thing is, with the Condy and clowns, is that the Condy is an Atlantic species of anemone, and well, there are not Atlantic species of clowns. So it would not be natural to assume any clowns live in them in nature, or the wild. But, I have seen on several different occasions, a few different species of clowns with their homes being Condys. These have included the tomato clown, firered clown, and false percs. There is always a bigger fish... |
