The first thing you might want to do is figure out some way to keep that from happening again. Otherwise you could end up with quite a few fish jumping out over the years. A lot of people put eggcrate from a hardware store over the top of their tanks, and it works fine for them. Especially skinny or suicidal fish may still be able to jump through, but they are the exception. We'd need to know your stocking list and other info about your tank (filtration, tank type, flow, lights, etc.) before giving sound advice. Personally, I really like longnosed hawkfish. I plan to get one for my aquarium. |

Maybe: Another smaller hawkfish species, such as the flame or any Cirrhitichthys. These may not be compatible with the hermits and snails. A small wrasse, maybe a sixline since it would be the last fish. Another Chromis or two, they would appreciate being kept in a school. I can't think of much else on my own. Your tank is pretty close to being fully stocked anyhow, what with the eventual size of some of your fish. |
