Do you mean the two spot blenny? http://liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=1871. I was thinking of getting one of those. Otherwise maybe look at the pictures on there and see if any of those match.

that isnt it but i can describe it to you:
-Looks kind of like a manderin fish
-Doesnt swim just kind of "walks" across the crushed coral
-has a black and tan body (striped)
-I think it is closely related to the manderin fish
-I havent seen it eat anything but i do beleive it is a fish that feeds off of copepods (spelling) on the live rock
Big roung eyes and has a mouth like a mandarin fish

i hope this hekps ill keep looking around to find out what this mystery fish is.

The heads on these fish closely relate to the form of my blennys head. But the coloration is NOT the same.

It's a dragonet of some type. Probably a regular scooter "blenny". These guys are like mandarins as sometimes they will not eat prepared foods, and may end up starving to death due to low amounts of live foods in an aquarium. Lots of mature live rock is good for these guys as this will usually help provide some live foods.

Ah yes, this is actually quite a common misconception...between the lawnmower blenny, algae blenny, scooter blenny, etc. I've worked in a petstore and seen a million different names come up on the bill. That's why scientific names are better than common names, they prevent confusion. I'll try to clarify for you.

What would be best for you is the sailfin/algae blenny:
Salarias fasciatus
They are very hardy and take well to aquarium life.

The one you'd be better off staying away from is the scooter dragonet:
Synchiropus ocellatus
They are actually in the mandarin family, and really need a big established tank with lots of copepods to be able to do well. Though they take to prepared foods, they still often starve in home aquariums.

In my tank I have a starry dragonet from the above family, and I have over 100lbs of rock plus a loaded refugium, mine takes prepared foods, both pellet and frozen, and he still looks thin.

Some other fish you might be interested in as alternatives are the bicolor blenny, Escencius bicolor (sp?) or any of the watchman gobies are cool too. I like engineer gobies a lot. They sort of look like mini eels. Stay away from neon gobies, as they're often fragile and I find although very useful fish, they dont do that well. (Sort of like the neon tetra of the ocean IMO.)

HTH...
