	Sumps?

Id be really interested in a sump but unfourtanatly i dont have a olot of room to work with. The width of the area id like to put a sump is about one foot wide and 2 feet long so i dont know if i can fit one in there. so yeah id really be interested in a sump and from what ive herd theyre really good at filtering so yeah id love to have as much info i can get on them. thanks in advancE!! >>>----> <----<<< pnh

stuff_gnome Fish Addict Posts: 620 Kudos: 382 Votes: 0 Registered: 13-Aug-2003	How much height do you have to work with? Your could rig a 15 gallon high(think thats what I'm thinking of) to be sump. It has the same foot print as a 10 gallon but is 1.5 times the height. All you need to do is hook up an over flow box to the tank, run it to the 15 gallon and then lay a pump on the bottom of the sump for a return line. I like to use "egg crate"(the light diffusing grid stuff) to partion filter media. Thats the easiest way I know of the make a sump.

But i only have room for a sump with the width of under 1 foot and under 1 and a half feet long. soooo yeah not looking tooo good >>>----> <----<<< pnh
