I might need to make a new topic since my questions keep changing.

This may sound like to much, but I was thinking Ottos/Gouramis/Platys/cories. But I knowthey all wont fit.
Any combos recommended? I know i cant get all 4 or even 3 in. And i really wanted a Platy trio. Thanks for the support!

Good luck!

Ooo I always love to suggest stocking
Idea 1:
1 Gourami
4 ottos or cories
(I really wouldn't be able to choose between ottos and cories because on one hand, ottos (in my experience) are less active, thus IMO better for a 10g, but more sensitive, and cories are more active but i really think the average sized cories are always happier in a >20g, so i dont really know which to pick )
Idea 2:
1 Gourami
1M/2F Plaies (I think the Gourami would help with the population control)
Idea 3:
1 Gourami
5/6 Black Neons/Cardinals/Neons (even though you didn't mention them)

All this stocking brainstorming makes me really want to start up my 10g again but the last thing I need is another episode of my MTS that I've finally gotten under control .

Good Luck!

Mo, I don't want to have to make a small cory school I love them with 8+, wich is the msot ive had in a single tank. Idea 2 is probably the most likely.

I was thinking 3 platys, 1 or 2 gouramis and 4 ottos. Sound like a lot of fish, but ottos are super thin and ive had them before and they keep everything neat and tidy. I dont think ottos will add much to the bioload. Or I might add some ghost shrimp into the mix... but i've had bad expweince in the past. We'll see, i still have 3 weeks ish to think on it. Thanks Mo!

Good Luck!
