I plan to set up a 20g tank and thought I would take some of the filter media from my 43G, to help it along. On 01.05.06 I already took 50% of the media from this tank, to start another tank.

Will it be too much of a shock on the existing tank's biological system if I take more media out & only a week or so after having just done the same thing?

Cheers

No, it should be okay. Also you could take some of the gravel and put it in a old pair of nylons and place it in the new tank.
