i know this sound stupid from a experience aquarist but im new to breed and extreamly useless at it but

i think i have a prgnate mollie because she is really fat but i cant see a gravid spot

maybe it might be i cant see it through he skin pigment (she is a baige color)

i have seen her and my male mollie getting close with each other and mating but maybe she not mature enough??

Wow sorry for no responses on this, so I'll take a whack at it.

First off, welcome to FP

With guppies the gravid spot it very obvious, that area of the fish is pretty much see-thru. You'll know when it's approaching drop time when it's belly is very full and square-shaped. It will appear alot more stressed and look for hidey places to hide to drop fry..

With Mollies there is no dark gravid spot, and on a darker fish if it's visible it'd be light in color. You can't see in so go by fullness and shape of the belly and how the fish is acting. They'll drop fry every month so you'll have time to observe and learn.
Good Luck !

I meant observe the fish closely for change in the belly (it will go more 'squarish' in a way, AND note the behaviour to see when it's about to give birth
