This is a collection of the shrimp photos

First the Upside down Shrimp. This is the underside of the Floating Water Sprite "Indian Fern"
They seem to be there a lot especially cleaning along the fine dangling roots

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

now i can see why you always recomend the cardinals instead of neons keith, very good looking fish mate
also i take it from the photos that your shrimp dont eat none of your plants, just the debris they catch.
i love the rich red colour on the shrimp too.

I have found the odd pinhole in some of the floating plant and that is all.
I removed the SAE to give them more natural algae. Green POOOO strings and plenty of it. Today I noticed red POOOO string the same colour of the flake food which means they are eating that as well. They mainly live in the Anubias and that is where I feed the tank from just above that big clump.

hmmmm i think i will have to get some anubias (a nice large one) for my bayfront too!

my cherries love to be everywhere, although my neons are the minority party and don't have much say in what goes on. my CAE dont eat all of fthe algae in the tank but I do supplement their feedings with Sushi Nori (seaweed paper or sushi wrapper) which they DECIMATE! The khulies also get along great with the shrimps although I am sure they are munching on a few babies.

Your pictures are amazing and I wish the Camera I have been using would allow me to take as good of shots!

Very nice photos Keith. Are they really called upsidedown shrimp or is that just their position you described?

No just my weird sense of humour. They just seem to hang there like that.
I have seen some other Red Cherrie Shrimp (only photos) and they are now where as strong rich colourings

kinda a pricey food, they would be ok for an oscar to eat but when they sell for a dollar a peice and are rare in many places it might be better to breed them and sell them! if i had a 55g i would fill it with cherry shrimp and discus and sell of the cherry babies to support my ever growing MTS...

Great pics keith, wish mine were as good, but I'm working towards it!

Not meaning to be rude all that info is in My Profile.
I will be prepared to ask as many questions as you want, read My Profile first then ask away.
What is not in the Profile is its location it is only ins away from the Computer screen and the keyboard actually touches the timber base,
In Photo Bucket you can see how it was made and set up (originally as a Betta tank)
