Hey!
I want to get a new camera since my other one is terrible at taking any pics without the flash (aka, it takes terrible pics of my tanks and fish, see here for examples).
I'm thinking I want a new Canon, either the G6, the S80, or the A620. I want a good camera that will take good pics of the fish and the tanks and also work well outside. Right now I'm leaning towards the A620 because of the price, but I'd like some advice as to how well it would compare to the others.
Thanks!

Not sure about what camera, but a bit of advice on photography itself... taking pictures of a tank without flash can be difficult because the low light levels of the tank make it necessary for the camera to use a slower shutter speed, which makes it much more likely that your pictures will have a fair amount of motion blur (which would be caused not only by your hands naturally shaking, but by the movement of the fish as well). Try using a tripod: this will steady things for you and you'll be able to pan along more easily. Maybe a new camera will improve things somewhat in terms of color etc., but it still takes technique and practice to get great fish tank shots.

Thanks for the advice, but I've done the tripod and all the other tricks my camera can do and I've concluded it's the camera that stinks more than me. I just ordered the new Canon A620, so we'll see how that does. If the pics still stink, I'll know it's me!

UPDATE:
Just got the new camera last night! I'm pretty sure the camera was the issue, but I'll let you decide for yourself:

Now when can we expect some good photos from that new camera?

Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://
