First of all, some photos featuring my water change and gravel vac régime (aren't 10 second timers on cameras wonderful things?) ...

They are, in order:

[1] Heath Robinson gravel vac on display after water removal - this vital piece of equipment cost me a grand total of 50p

[2] Use of digital thermometer to check water temperature while mixing tap water and freshly boiled water from the kettle

[3] Addition of new water to aquarium - note dechlorinator bottle!

[4] Temperature checking while adding water (thermometer ringed in shot)

Next, the latest photos of my baby Pandas. I fished them out of the nursery during the latest water change and gravel vac operation, and while they were in the jug awaiting rehousing, I photographed them. Only trouble is, I can only see 9 of them in the photo, and I definitely caught 10 and counted them going in the jug ... so where's the 10th one hiding? The ones I could see in the photo while annotating it are ringed - trouble is, the tenth one is tiny, and might be obscured by the 'bomb flare' effect from the flash hitting the water. There ARE 10 of them in there, trust me!

Panda baby photo!

Enjoy!

They're growing nicely - and soon i'll try and obtain more pics of the fry in situ in the nursery - but because the nursery aquarium is near floor level, and the fry are 9mm or less in length at the moment, they are a tad difficult to photograph - for one thing I either have to lie on the floor and shoot them or give myself a hernia trying to do so on my knees!

Lol Cal , I know the feeling, I get serious neck strain from leaning , Heron-like towards the tank for ages, holding the camera. One day I will remember to use the tripod. lol.

Very much looking forward to the pics when you do get them though

Very glad they are doing well

Ps , we look identical from the neck down. Whats wrong with old school? Black is back

For those about to rock - we salute you. Anyone who taps the glass though, gets punched If you must air guitar, get the hell away from the tank. Your not Cher.
