If it is then its probably from that. I noticed that sort of white fluffy stuff growing on a new piece that I had put in but eventually it just disappears. It did no harm to anything else in the tank. ![]() |

You can take it off and until it's done rotting, it will come back. It's not harmful, and pretty normal. |

Are there any fish in it yet? The cloudiness can be a few things, such as particulate matter (dust) that hasn't settled yet, or oranic material creating blooms of bacteria. |
