pbeemer,

this is the first time that I hear about Bristle Nose Plecos eating other fish at night. Are you sure he/she didn't eat them because they died?

Overall, if that would be the case, then the description of "Excellent for community tanks." would for sure have to be changes. Just on that merit I reject the current suggestion.

They wont eat stuff that hasnt already died, but they may scavenge a little.Bristlenoses dont actively hunt, although the tiniest fry might be consumed, even then its not by any means a common occurrance.
