Pretty much the only time they are peaceful is when they are kept in schools of ten or more in extremely large tanks (700+ gallons), but there isn't even any mention of schooling behavior in your description. They are indeed a schooling fish, but the fact that a huge tank is needed for ten foot-long fish causes them to be kept as single specimens by most people (and single specimens are usually highly-aggressive). I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.
