Some mollies can inhabit brackish water, but they are a freshwater species, and need clean water, not salt to be healthy. While salt doesn't usually hurt mollies it also doesn't seem to really improve their health or increase their lifespan in most cases.

LITTLE_FISH *** Little Fish *** Master of Something Posts: 7303 Kudos: 1997 Votes: 670 Registered: 20-May-2005	Before I cast a vote I have a question for Sham: You say "doesn't seem to really improve their health or increase their lifespan" and the suggested change reads "Mollies heath seem to be much improved if kept in brackish water" - but then you vote approve.
