	A Horror Show with Silicone
Cichlid Kid Fish Addict Posts: 553 Kudos: 285 Votes: 34 Registered: 22-May-2004	i just had a horror show sealing a crack in the glass light plate on my hood. i was squeezing the tube and it was coming out good, i then spread it on the desired spot on the glass. when i went back to the tube to apply more it was coming out a bit difficult so i applied more pressure and the end burst and i got ir all over my hands. i figured it was oil based so i used dish soap to get some off, however i still have a layer on my hands....atleast i won t burst and send hot water evrywhere

It is not designed nor manufactured for that purpose. The glass will simply bend in half at that point and eventually fold in half. Once glass is broken like that, the only "cure" is to replace it by going to a place that makes windows or a glass store, and having them cut a replacement piece. Cichlid Kid Fish Addict Posts: 553 Kudos: 285 Votes: 34 Registered: 22-May-2004	no it didnt crack in half it is just on one side where i hit it when i took it out of the packaging.i think it will be fine.if not then i plan to have a new peice cut. there isnt a super llot but a bit more than expected got on it.
