does it matter where the thermometer is? | |
ztb23 Hobbyist Posts: 118 Kudos: 137 Votes: 0 Registered: 13-Jan-2014 | i have a digital thermometer with the display outside and the sensor on a cord. i have it on the side of the tank on the inside and sometimes im not sure if im getting an accurate reading because of the outside temperature cooling or warming the sensor. could i bury the sensor between the gravel and the UGF to get a more accurate readout? |

Since that tank is so small, and the sensor so small, you could hide it on the same side as the filter about midway up the tank behind a plant.
