Were they in the same tank? Water parameters would be helpful...

Sorry you lost your bettas .

Please refer to [link=this post-it]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/The%20Hospital/43725.html?200407200128" style="COLOR: #EB4288[/link] to help us get a better idea of what is going on.

Did you notice any different behavior before they died? How old were they?

well, alisha dont forget, (are those the bettas that got into fights) if so, then treat with bettamax, and jungle buddies, fungus clear, and clean water, if not, change water, and feed some new foods, and hope for the best.

she doesnt have test strips and i cant loan her any because im out too lol, but she wasnt home when the female died, and the male went 20 both sides on the sides of his divider, first an older male tore him a new one, then the betta on the otherside made it worse, she added him to a vase with melafix, i dont remember how long she had him in there though but he was in bad shape after the 2 fights

I'm going to suggest against test strips in the future as they're known to be quite inaccurate, not to mention more expensive per test.

If the fish had been in a fight, it's quite possible that either infection or simply the wounds recieved were enough to kill the fish. Melafix may not have been strong enough as even a small ammount of ammonia, nitrIte or nitrAte would been enough. If you're going to go with the same setup in the future you may want to try adding more plants to each side of the divider to prevent them from seeing what's on the other side. And re-inforce the divider.
