What size tank do you have? Can you give us the other occupants, and the readings for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate?

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

We need a little more info.
How big is the tank?
How long has it been set up?
Is it cycled?
What are your Ammonia, Nitr(I)te, and Nitr(A)te levels.
What other fish are in the tank?
What kind of filter?

It is a 125 gallon. 2 gouramis, 1 rainbow shark, 1 pleco, 1 chinese algae eater, and 2 silver mollys. my Ph is around 8.4. My alkalinity is around 240. my total hardness is around 50. I'm not sure about the other stuff you asked for, but the PH has been stable and I have not changed the water since I added the angels. Also, I added stress coat when I changed the water.

what does "cycled" mean? I change water every two weeks and I have it filtered.

it seems to be that your angels died out of stress cause sudden change in water parameter
your pH of 8.4 is really to high for angelfish
it was likely to be the stress of being transfered to your tank and the high pH that has caused the death of your angelfish
you may have introduced you angels too quickely

I just think that if the PH was the cause, they would have died sooner. Also, if i did introduce them too fast, what should i do to fix it.

fish could die quickly from a major change like that, but very often a stress on them like that will weaken their immune systems and they will succumb to another disease (which may not have visible symptoms)

PH was most likely the cause angels are sensative fish and most petstore keep there water at 7.0 a shock like that would be enough to kill a fish let alone that angels prefer 7.o or below!

what should I do about the PH. I have tried using the PH lowerers and I can never get those to work.
