I am having almost the same problem as BabyBlueEyes. My Chinese algae eater is pooping very bright white, but they are not stringy. They look as full as a normal poop, except that is is so white???? Any ideas ???

I've seen it before on a couple of my fish, but I really don't know what it is. Maybe feeding a shelled pea would help, but I really don't know what kind of ailment it is.

If the fish is acting normal, i would not worry much about it.

It is probably because of whatever food he is eating. I know my fish that eat plants and algae tend to poop green, whereas when I feed bloodworms fish poop reddish tinged.
You could try adding some garlic extract to a serving of frozen food just to get rid of any internal parasites that may be around. I use it in every feeding of frozen food just as a precautionary measure, plus it improves food flavor
If he is fine, as was mentioned before, I wouldnt worry to much, just keep an eye on him. Try feeding him a shelled cooked or frozen pea and see if he poops green.
That would also help with any constipation issues, but it doesnt look as though this fish has any
