I've got 4 white Angelfish and 2 black. They had a very normal behaviour until yesterday. Suddenly they got blood visible on their body and outline and they close their fins.

Anyone knows what it is and could you suggest a way of nedicating them ?

Please tell us a little bit more about your tank.

What other fish are in the tank and what size is the tank?

We need to rule out water problems so please test for pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate and post results for us. If you dont have the test kits take a sample of water to your lfs and ask them for the results.

What is your cleaning schedule for the tank?

Do you add anything to the water besides a dechlorinator?

Can you describe their wounds a little more?

How are they behaving? Are they eating?

Is there anything in the tank that they could of injured themselves on?

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

"Septicemia" is blood poisoning...

Symptoms: Redness on fish, bloodstreaks on skin without apparent injury, especially blood streaks in the fins, inflamed blood vessels in the skin and at fin bases stand out, small haemorrhages around eyes, loss of appetite, sluggish or very sluggish behavior.

This disease is a killer if not treated soon.

Bacterially based, an antibiotic fish food must be administered before the trop loses its appetite.

Usually bad water conditions cause the disease.

IME by the time the fish shows symptoms it's often too late, but try for it in anycase. If you don't have medicated foods available in your area here's a recipe that was given to me thru the boards.

Medicated Food
1-tablet Tetracycline tablets from Mardel Laboratories ground into a fine powder.
1-tsp. of ground flake food (grind until it reaches powder form)
2-tablets of Nutrafin Spirulina Tablets (grind into a powder)
1/4-tsp. ground freeze dried bloodworms (approximately 1 tsp. before grinding)
1-envelope Knox Gelatine for Recipes (unflavored)
1-cup dechlorinated water (use 3/4 for boiling and 1/4 for predissolving tetracycline at room temp).

Bring water to a boil and combine all ingredients (less tetracycline) in a container with a lid. Pre-dissolve the tetracycline in the 1/4 cup. Pour the completed gelatin mix into a container and let it cool, but not enough to gel. Mix in the predissolved tetracycline. Place in refrigerator for 1 hour. After one hour take food out and stir thoroughly. Place back in refrigerator to allow to set. Once food is set freeze half of it. The other half put on a clean well-rinsed plate and mash with fork. Feed fish twice a day what they can eat. (Caution: Food will sink to the bottom right away. If not eaten within 30 minutes take remaining food out.)
Any of the ingredients may be replaced to make suitable for other types of fish. If used as is, it is more suited for omnivores

I'd also increase water quality, if there are other fish in the tank that aren't yet displaying symptoms they may soon....increasing water quality is the only way to prevent more illnesses.

I was just about to mention that antibiotics are not available in Malta...??

You'll have to get a veterinarian to give you the required meds if you value the trops.

I can understand that....as much as the flags help I know more than a few people that don't use the right ones.....

Tetracycline is also a human med (I took it for a few years). If the vet won't give you a prescription they can possible tell you the correct ammounts to use, it might be availible over the counter (med availiblity differs country to country)...I tried a google search but couldn't come up with how much is used in the one brand I found listed maybe someone else can provide that info.
