i have 2 bottomfeeders 1 catfish and 2 chichlids. my 2 bottomfeeders seem to suck the pebbles at the bottom but wont eat. this has been going on for a week

If they otherwise look healthy, I'd suspect that they are actually eating. Most bottomfeeders (I'm guessing some type of catfish) are nocturnal and will only do their serious foraging at night.
