Uhoh guys, i think my gourami showed a little too much interest in my filter, he hes what appears to be a big bruise on the top of his body and he is really lethargic. I jsut cleaned the filter out, and it is much stronger now. I moved him into a little isolation chamber because he kept getting stuck. Anything else i can do for him?

I don't now if you can. By bruise, do you mean a somewhat open wound? If this is the case, melafix and very clean water. An actual BRUISE though....I've never heard of that before. My only educated guess would be internal bleeding, which wouldnt be a good thing...

If your filter is really that strong, I'd suggest turning down its power a bit.
