One of my Orange Maylandia estherae, or Red Zebra has passed away. When I woke up this morning I found it stuck next to the glass and the filter intake, mouth wide open, facing upwards.

I have it in the fridge and can take a picture if anyone needs it. The little one has some white bloches all over it's body now, it's gills are pretty red and it's belly seems a little swollen now (though it never had a swollen belly before.)

I'm about to do a water change on the tank and probably put in some Melafix till I know what's wrong.

PS these cichlids have never had a single problem since they've been around back in like last Dec.

Thanks!

That fish will probably not survive either...

Do your water tests to see if anything has changed before dosing anything.

Here is a picture of the deceased fish.

As I said, I carried out the water change 30%. Checked the filter medial, checked the water parameters and everything has turned out ok. All the other fish still look and act the same. I can't understand it. I also did dose with melafix.
