My kissing fish is beginning to develop some gray areas on its forehead and a few scales, what is this & what do I do about it. He's about 2 1/2" have had him like 1yr. He was my 1st fish.

Hi, how is your fish doing? I'm novice also but maybe I can help... What do you keep him in and how is your water as far as you know? Is he your only fish? Does he act and eat the same and seem healthy besides his looks?

i think its a maturing thing. my kissers are about 6" and they have metalic looking scales under there mouth back to there gills. theyve had this for some time now and hasnt had any effects on my kissers.
