Poetic Betta  Small Fry Posts: 2 Kudos: 13 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Jul-2004   | I was babysitting my boyfriend's (Naturalist) fish, Victor, the Convict. He died unexpectedly. He was 1 1/2 - 2 inches long in a 10 gallon tank. He had no symptoms. I did accidentally feed him some tetra mini pellets. His regular diet consisted of shrimp pellets & tropical flakes. Every once in a while, my boyfriend would feed him brine shrimp. We moved him in last week & he was fine. Any suggestions? |

garyroland   ---Prime Fish--- Posts: 7878 Kudos: 4010 Votes: 103 Registered: 31-Dec-2001  | Trops do, on occasion, drop dead... It's always a mystery, especially since there's no signs of disease. I would speculate the fish, like humans, had a fatal heart attack. It happens. --garyroland. |
