Hello all,

Here's the problem. I have three dwarf frogs in a 10 gallon, along with a very friendly betta and some cories. The other fish are not bothering my frogs, but now, the second one is dying. I had four in the beginning, but one died a few days ago.

Basically, he is upside down a lot, and he seems to float to the top of the tank, like he's not heavy enough to stay on the bottom. Also, the most important part, his back is arched, like it's broken or something, though I doubt that's it. It's the exact thing that happened to my other frog that died, and I would really like to save this one.

I don't think he has bloat, because he doesn't look any bigger, or fuller. Only his back is arched.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Is it possible that his back is broken? When they go up for air, they come back down and sometimes land on their head. Is it possible that these frogs just somehow end up breaking their backs?

It looks like he can't move his legs anymore. He's stiff, like his back is broken.

hmm - what are the water peramters of the tank. What exactly do you have in it, and what are you feeding them? Oh, and what temperature is it kept at?

Is he swollen at all?

I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions
