stuquarium  Enthusiast Posts: 262 Kudos: 275 Votes: 0 Registered: 28-Oct-2004   | hi again i own a school of 5 Black widow/skirt tetras in my 35G tank and these fish are fairly thin by nature, but i have one fish thats getting pretty fat, when it faces me you can tell theres a bulge where the stomach is, what would it be ? i understand they are egg la water: Ammonia: 0 PH: 6.8 nitrate and nitrite are good. Cichlid Keeper    Big Fish Posts: 368 Kudos: 466 Votes: 304 Registered: 17-Aug-2003  | I also have a school of 6 black skirts in my 55 community tank and I've noticed that 2 of them have the swollen stomach your describing. Mine have been this way for so long I've almost came to the conculsion that its just from getting shall we say getting enough to eat. Maybe somone else has a better answer as I would also be very interested in hearing it.  |
