	Fish not eating much!!!
JQW Fish Addict Posts: 869 Kudos: 758 Registered: 09-Apr-2003	[font color="#000080"]Help!!! My fish's appetite has decresed significantly over the past couple of weeks. Fish in my 15G are 3 guppies and 2 kribs. At the moment, I'm only feeding them on Algae based Flakes. They don't seem to terribly like it much. Do yous think I should get different food? Most likely the answer is yea, if so, what food is the best? Thanks, Jimmy

Besides, I'm not sure if the algae based flake would fit the amount of protein and other nutrients that those fish would be looking for. Hikari makes a "baby" cichlid pellet that would probably suit both fish quite well. I tend to stay away from most flake as it's usually not all that appetizing and tends to pollute the water. I'd go with GR's suggestion and get them some good high protein treats to supplement any staple diet. Bloodworms are always good and I like to give tasty spirulina for fibre occasionally. Good luck.
