i dont know what is wrong water parameters wont help, although i know it was the water!! i had a tank get a crack in it, i moved 40 fish ready for sale that were in a heavely filtered 10 gallon, they get a water change twice a week, but this tank isnt the problem!! i moved them to a 25 gallon tub, i put gravel from the fry tank in, and their plants, i rushed the 40 fish into the tub, the temp was the same, then i moved the fry into that 10 gallon, the fry are fine, its the other fish i left them alone for like 3 hours, and when i went in to check on them, i saw most belly upi rescued a few that were still moving a littleto a 1 gallon betta tank with clean water, i have already lost 2 more from that tank i dont know whats going on

My first guess would have been temperature shock if they went belly up within 3 hours, but you said the temp was the same. I have to say stress did them in. 40 fish in a tank that they were settled in, then to a 10 gallon tank, then to a 25 gallon tub, the only question I have is what was the time frame that this all happened???

The tub that you moved them into - have you used it to place fish in before? Has it been used for anything else? Was it stored in an area that it couldn't get contaminated? It might possible be the problem.

i havent used the tub for fish before, it was an emergency, at least i called it that when u have a tank STILL leaking water with no place to put the fish and the fish were moved to the 10 gallon like 2 months ago, they were moved to the tub today, then a few hours later to a 1 gallon, and after talking on chat, it now hads and airpump, and 3 fish are transfered to a 3 gallon buckey being airated

I bet it's stress that killed your fish. Maybe from the many changes in tanks. When you moved them from the 10 gallon to the 25 (if I understood that correct) did you fill up the rest of the water of the tank with new treated water? or did you use water from another aquarium to fill up the 25 g? If you added so much new water then your fish died from PH change shock. The PH change shock could be the cause even if you used water from already established aquarium if you don't share the same water between all your tanks (i move daily water from my main tank to my fry tank to ensure that it's always the same water and that the fry won't have a problem to adjust when I'll move them to the main tank.)

Who knows what may have been in the tub b4 the fishies got in there. may have been anything, but I must agree stress goes a long way. fish have no ways of telling us when they're stressed, other than perhaps acting out of the norm.

EDIT: i will post pics of some of the dead fish, and the tank all cleaned so u can see the crack

My guess is something toxic in the tub too.

Was the tub brand new, straight from the store, or was stuff stored in it?

If something was stored in there, what was it?

I always suggest that people take a bin from the center of a stack of them at the store. You never know when they may be spraying for insects or something and some of the spray gets up there. I always suggest vigorous rinsing, even using rock salt to rub the bottom and sides.

Why??

I use buckets all of the time that had stuff stored in them for my tanks.

When i had cloudy water, i just used the bucket my dad washes the car with to do a small 5% water change (i didnt feel like getting the python out for a few gallons), and my fish are fine.

Its a risk. There's nothing wrong with being cautious. I have dedicated fish buckets that are an unusual color, marked "Fish".

I found out the hard way that fish are extremely sensitive to even the tiniest trace of soap or detergent in their water. One day (and it took me a while to piece together what had happened) I accidentally got what must have been just a drop or two of mild hand soap on the thermometer for the 50-gallon tank I maintain at the local library, and the next day I'd lost $25 worth of fish -- including all my Cardinal Tetras (which seem particularly sensitive). The books always urge you to buy new separate buckets entirely for the purpose of transporting your fishes' water, and I can see why.
