	HELP severums have ich
mynameisnathan1234 Hobbyist Posts: 54 Kudos: 49 Votes: 4 Registered: 22-Mar-2004	My 2 severums have what looks like ich. I put some CopperSafe in and it has only gotten worse. its been about a week. Its a 40g. If I were to do a salt treatment, how much do I use and is it safe after useing coppersafe?

You probably need to get something like Rid ich or Ich attack.Also raise your temp.to about 85 and vaccum your gravel every couple of days hopefully to get some of the ich spores out of the gravel before they spawn. Make sure you treat them for the entire amount of time reccommended on the bottle. Also one question You are remembering to remove any carbon you might have in your filters before treating the fish aren't you? Best of luck.

It says on the coppersafe that it treats ich and its worked for me befor but this time it seems to be less effective. I will try what you say. Thank you very much for your help.
