First off read [link=this post]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/The%20Hospital/43725.html?200407200128" style="COLOR: #EB4288[/link] and answer as many of the questions as possible. Most important are the water test results. If you dont have a master test kit yet your Local Fish Store (LFS) should be willing to test your water for you, just be sure to ask for the specific numbers and write them down ![]() You mentioned you just got the fish, did you cycle the tank at all prior to placing the fish in the tank? [link=Here is a link about cycling]http://www.fishprofiles.net/faq/begin-cycling.asp" style="COLOR: #EB4288[/link]. Now, as for the symptoms. Do the dots look more like grains of salt? Or do they seem fuzzy? ^_^[hr width='40%'] The life, the love, You die to heal. The hope that starts, The broken hearts... I’ve got another confession my friend, I’m no fool. Yes, fish can bring things in with them... it's a good idea to quarentine whenever is possible. So on the guppies, what do the patches look like? Grains of salt look would mean ich, which is common when fish become stressed and is easily treated with medications found in most all LFS's. White patches may be a fungus. ^_^ [hr width='40%'] The life, the love, You die to heal. The hope that starts, The broken hearts... I’ve got another confession my friend, I’m no fool.
