	Help needed Unid disease
hcelizondo Hobbyist Posts: 84 Kudos: 54 Votes: 9 Registered: 20-Oct-2004	Today I noticed a strange thing in one of mi Cories, it has the barbels in a red colour like if he has lipstick, the only symptom I saw was he takes those gulps of air more often and it takes more time at the surface, I'll try to post a pic tomorrow any idea what it might be??? Amonnia=0, Nitrites=0, Nitrates =5ppm (Just made a water change yesterday)

You could keep an eye on him see if it gets better or worse. Add some melafix if you have it. Lipstick red on one barbel sounds like an injury to me. Is there any other red? any other fish showing signs? hcelizondo Hobbyist Posts: 84 Kudos: 54 Votes: 9 Registered: 20-Oct-2004	Hello Calla, is not only 1 barbel it's all over the mouth including barbels, and yes there is only one showing this, tank stock is: 2 Bolivian Rams 5 Corydoras Leucomelas (1 of these is the affected one) 1 Black neon (trying to get 5 more) Tank size is about 27g

It worked good for me one of my danios lost both its eyes from pop eye. usually a fish cant make it with out eyes. I put him in a small hospital tank and dosed it with alittle of that bad boy and its been a month now and its still active and strong and it still mates!!!!
