See your other post for comments on metronidazole. It has a narrow shot at some bacteria, and I've never heard it used for tail/fin rot, or columnaris, or aeromonas. It is used mainly for parasites, protozoans and yeast-like infections. I think Furanase, Furacyn, Fungus Clear, Furan-2 are your best bet. Only furanace/furanase and furacyn would I dose in your planted tank. The other two have ingredients that can adversely affect your plants.
