The first fish is a telescopic eye goldfish 2.5" excluding tail, in a 20 gal tank with fish about the same size. They were just recently transported to this new tank from a 10 gal tank about a week ago, likewise, ammonia is a 4ppm and nitrate (Im not sure is spelled it right I know it is NO2) is .25ppm. General hardness was 8(not sure what measurement, but the one where 1 is every ~17 or 7 ppm?) he only seems to have it on one scale, and that scale is prettymuch red now that I look at it. It looks like the red is underneith the scale and the scale is semitransperent-white. I added some "Stress Coat". Raised temp.
------------------------------------
The second fish is a black and white molly (imagine a dolmation with even number of black and white spots) 1.5" not including tail. This makes it very hard to detect ich. I noticed something around his mouth, like white fuzz, about 1/2cm^2 in 2d volume 1mm thick. It is an established tank with constant 0ppm ammonia and no2. 40 gal tank with ~15 other fish his size. Recently added a clown loach to tank. Raised temp.
--------------
could these 2 fish be put in the same hospital tank? do they have the same deaseases? What desease? |

There are plenty of meds available on the market, Rid ich plus is specially formulated for treating tanks with clown loaches. Raising the temp will help speed the life cycle of the ich, but you must follow the directions exactly and be prepaired for additional doses if it becomes necessary. ^_^ ![]() Current [link=Contest Rules]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/Aquascaping/44382.html?200412022138" style="COLOR: #EB4288[/link] ![]() |
