It HAD two angle fish. One died with nearly the same symptoms, as the remaining one has!! (scary) The angel fish has a few holes in its BODY near the tail fin, and one goes all the way through! They DO NOT appear fuzzy on or near the holes, though a COUPLE of the holes appear SLIGHTLY whiter to the edges. There are some pin prick size holes (much smaller than the ones on the body) on the tail fin. The angel has taken to hiding in a rock with a hole in it (exactly what the other angel did before dying). It has energy, and zipped rapidly about the tank when I chased it with the net to get a better look at it. It tries to eat, but then spits out everything it eats (it used to be the tank pig along with its brother who died). When it tries to eat, it appears to be choking. I tried to medicate the other angel with neomycin, spectrogram, and Melafix, pimafix at different times (no I did not mix gram possitive items at one time), and nothing seemed to help. It just got worse. This angel seems to be on the same course. It is about 2". Water is changed (10-20%) weekly. Any advise would be appreciated, as the fact that the holes do not have color or whiteness to them, and I have tried medicating the other angle stumps me. Much thanks! |
