One of my guppies has white spot. I'm treating the tank with medication. Should I remove the ill fish from the tank. What is the likly hood of the fish dying and passing it onto other fish?

I cant say how the fry will handle treatment, maybe someone else can answer that one.
Remove the carbon from the filter, do not remove any fish from the tank. Ich is one case where you need to treat in tank. You will also need to follow the directions exactly. It's only after the cycsts have fallen off the fish that they can be killed by the medications.
