Hey guys,
Just wanted to know what everyone knew about melafix, if its good with all fish, if you half the dose for corys (or any other fish) what it treats etc!

I haven't used it with saltwater, corries, or loaches...Otherwise it is a great medicine as far as I can tell and have used it on most all fish otherwise, and won't kill your snails:%)

I've used it on corys and kuhli loaches without incident.

I even once overdosed (adding TWICE the recommended amount) and the fish were fine. It temporarily anesthatized my apple snails at that strenght. But I did a 50% water change, and didn't loose anyone.

I use it all the time for small stuff like nipped fins. Works great! I especially like it for my puffers, who tend to be sensitive to a lot of meds.
