![]() | Internal Bleeding PLEASE HELP!! |
Lawnboy41![]() Fingerling Posts: 32 Kudos: 29 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Mar-2005 ![]() ![]() | My molly looks like it is bleeding internally. It is near the tail. One of the male mollies was chasing it around so I isolated it in a breeding net. She was trying to hide in the plants and the male kept chasing her. I added some salt to the aquarium. I think it might have an internal parasite...it sometimes has white stringy poo and sometimes red. It still eats like normal. Is there anything I should be doing to help her or is she doomed? PLEASE HELP!!!! Jamie P.S. I put the male molly in the breeding net b/c he just kept chasing the other female molly after I took the other one out. Is this bad? |

The breeding net is just going to stress out whatever fish you have in there- they are really only good for fry. the male will chase the female trying to get her to breed- thats why you should 2-3 females for each male livebearer. stringy poo- either bacterial or parasite We'll need your water parameters- ammonia, nitrite and nitrAte levels- how long its been set up if its a new tank, and what sized tank, and list of occupants. |
