Personally, I don't like any of the Jungle products that I've used. They have either not worked, turned my water colors (without a specific mention of dye one the box), and seem to be geared towards money, not the well-being of fish. For instance, they sell tiny little bowls that they claim are 'great for bettas and goldfish'. I've used plant tabs from them that didn't help, and meds that turned my tank green. I really just don't care for any Jungle things.

Keep in mind though, the above is my perception of Jungle products, and includes my experiences with them. Other folks may think differently.

EDIT: Made the examples more specific.

I've used them for Ich, and Fungus treatments...to my satisfaction. Yes they do turn the water(and silicone, airline tubes, etc.)blue; but it DOES say it on the box: "Note: May stain aquatic and non-aquatic materials".

They work for me.

I use Jungle "Bag Buddies" for shipping fish. And yes they do work. I have tested the water in comparison of same fish in different bag. After 24 hours. They worked extremely well. I do recommend them for shipping and/or for taking fish to auctions.

It would appear that when Jungle meds are used you have a choice of blue, green or cloudy water...

There's not too many meds on the market that really give you that kind of choice.

Diane, (Cori-Di), has a mad passion for Jungle products and every chance she gets she promotes their use. Now what is she going to say??

Actually as far as meds go, I only use p-cillin, and formaldihyte II. Other than these, I may sway to a specific med, if I know the disease to a definite.
