I posted before about this but no one has answered and I could really use the help.

I found a white spot on my catfish. It looks larger than most of the pictures I've seen of ich. Is there anything else it could be? I just found another spot last night.

Here's my stock list: It's a 30 gallon with 2 mollies, a loach, and the catfish.

Is it all right to medicate with my other fish still in there.

Thank you,
Rach

It could possibly be an injury that developed a fungus or infection of some sort, any chance of linking us to a picture. What type of catfish?
Also can we please have the requested info from [link=this thread]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/The%20Hospital/43725.html?200407200128" style="COLOR: #EB4288[/link].

If you havent got a hospital tank you'll have to medicate in the main tank... If it is ich you'll need to medicate the main tank anyway.

Babs has given you a fine answer to the problem...

It may indeed be an injury that became a fungus infection that can be treated with a fungus med.

"Jungle" should have a fungus med that can be dosed with other trops in the tank.

We apologize for the delay in answering.
