My Dwarf Gourami Laying On Its Side | |
Shauna372 Small Fry Posts: 14 Kudos: 9 Votes: 0 Registered: 09-May-2006 | Yesterday morning I noticed my dwarf gourami sort of suspended looking up (just not looking "right", so I watched for a bit then it was just laying on its side, still breathing, throughout the day, I checked and it moved but still laying on its side. I know its dying but not sure why. This am its still laying there on its side, still breathing. My question is should I just take it out cause I feel like its suffering or should I just let nature take its course. Also, this am I noticed a glob of white stuff on the gravel stuck to the glass, not sure what the heck it is, I'm fairly new at this <1 yr, could it be eggs? I have 2 dwarf gouramis, 3 honey gouramis, 4 bloodfin tetras, 3 painted tetras and a bottom feeder (can't remember what its called). Any thoughts on either thing? |

That's my first fish to die since I started this hobby last June so I guess I shouldn't be too sad. Hopefully my other one doesn't die too. |
