I'm just recently learned that I have an angel with camallanus worms. It has been suggested that Levamisole is best at treating those. Has anyone done this? What is the procedure? The one angel I have noticed with this is in my 100g planted tank with 3 other angels, a school of congos, a school of black neons, a pair of gouramis, and some platies, so do I need to treat them all?
Thanks in advance!
Camallanus worms can be seen dangling from the vent of a fish, while the fish is at rest (like, sleeping). Only when the infestation is severe do they necessarily dangle out visibly.

You are fortunate that you live here in the states where Jungle has released a brand new medicine called, Jungle Anti-Parasite Medicated Food. It contains all the ingredients for most parasites, including camallanus. Included are: metronazidole, levamisol, praziquantel.

You are most likely to find it at Petsmart. Jungle claims it should be more widely available the end of this month, but you know how that goes.

Here it is:

http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441806678&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023693&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302030134&bmUID=1106868492730

There are other products like Parasite Clear, but as you notice, none of these have levamisol, which is number one in the treatment of camallanus.

Thank you so much!
Yep, that's what my angel has- I can see them dangling out clearly. I want to try the Jungle medicated flakes before I resort to having to treat my whole 100g tank community with levamisol. I'll stop by Petsmart tonight!
